The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a lot of disruptions in the normality of people's lives. For students who were planning to study abroad, the future seems particularly uncertain. On top of that, cancellations of English language tests and standardized tests make the application procedure more complicated, which requires students and universities alike to adapt quickly to the changing circumstances. Prior to the show, Li Ningjing spoke to Mr. Xiaofeng Wan, Associate Dean of Admissions at Amherst College, Massachusetts, over the phone. He offers students some tips on how they should approach their applications to overseas universities at this special time, and what's in the cards for the fall semester for some US universities.
